Individual archive:

  1. In a Group scroll, or use the search bar to find the Animal(s) you wish to archive.

  2. Tap on the Animals to highlight it in green, then click the circle 'Action button', then click 'Archive'.

  3. If an animal has a breeding record, you can swipe the animal to the left from the stock list to archive. Archive replaces 'Delete' when the animal has a relationship with another animal (breeding record).

Group archive:

  1. (Skip to step 3 if animals are already grouped) If the Animals are not already in a group, scroll, or use the search bar to find the Animal(s) you wish to group and archive, click on them to highlight them in green.

  2. Press the circle 'Action Button', Select 'Add to new group' , Name the group.

  3. Navigate to the 'Groups' tab at the bottom, select 'Sheep' and find your group, view the group by pressing the 'chevron>', press the circle 'Action Button' then select 'ARCHIVE' to archive the whole group.

Restoring archived animals

  1. Go to 'Groups' > Select 'Archive' > Select the animal(s) you wish to restore, or select none if you want to restore all > Press the '>>>' button > Select to 'Restore All' or 'Restore Selected'

Additional information

  • Archiving animals is a good way to keep your stock list and permanent groups clean from livestock you no longer manage, such as moved, sold, or dead animals

  • Using filters, you can specify a particular group of animals you want to archive

  • You can permanently delete animals from the Archive group, as long as they have no relationships with other animals (breeding records)

  • Animals that are archived will show 'ARC' in their animal summary

  • You can restore an archived animal if you archive it accidentally!
