What is Syncing?
A 'Sync' is performed when the user presses the 'Sync Now' button within the Sync Centre, this is located in the 'Admin' section of the app. Syncing makes multi-device operation possible by sending and receiving information from the iLivestock Cloud.
How do I know when to sync?
You can sync when you want, but, make sure you have a good WIFI or cellular connection when syncing to make sure the process is not interrupted.
Syncing is also prompted by the app if you have not completed a sync in some time. This to make sure all your data is saved and up to date, we recommend to sync when you are prompted by the app.
We also recommend syncing after you have added a lot of new data or made a lot of changes to data.
If you use multiple devices, best practice is to sync the device with the newest data first, then when that is done sync your other device to pull the new data from the cloud. DO NOT sync both devices at the same time.
