Allflex LPR Pairing settings:
The LPR can be tricky to pair at times and the set up involves 2 stages, one for the reader and then on your smartphone.
How to Pair the Allflex LPR
Action Required on LPR Reader - Stage 1:
Step 1. Switch the unit on by pressing and releasing the "scan" button, you should see a red light and it should beep once.
Step 2. Make sure the reader doesn't turn off whilst trying to pair
Note: (Automatic shut down is usually after 2 minutes)
Action required on Smartphone - Stage 2:
Step 1. Make sure your bluetooth on the iOS device is switched on.
Step 2. Below this you should see the device "LPR" show as available devices.
Step 3. Select LPR and type in the pin 1234 if a pin is requested - as shown in screen grabs below.
Step 4. The LPR should now show under your Paired Devices on your bluetooth screen.
Step 5. Open iLivestock and the top bar should be showing Blue meaning the LPR reader is now connected.
Having Issues with Reading EID Tags?
If you can connect to your LPR but cannot get tags to read into iLivestock please make sure your device is in Master mode and not Slave.
