The Sheep Tag Series feature allows you to get ahead of the game by pre-creating all of your lamb IDs in one go or in weekly batches. Simply tell the system where to start from in your number sequence and how many lamb IDs to generate.

Once your IDs have been generated, as and when your ewes are lambing, simply add the next sequence lamb to the breeding record, update the lamb details such as gender, birth weight and add additional birthing info and thats it, job done.

Step 1: Navigate to the Animals icon on the lower navigation bar and select ALL in the upper menu and tap the 'Action' button

Step 2: From the menu options show tape the 'Add Animal' plus sign

Step 3: From the Add Animal menu options, tap the Sheep Tags Series option

Step 5: Now on the 'Add Sequences' screen, in the Starting number field, add in the starting unique animal ID number from your sequence. For example if your last animal ID used was 00010, you'll need to start with 00011.

In the Flock ID field, add in your full flock ID

In the Quantity to create field, add in the amount of lambs you want to pre-create.

Note: These lambs will be generated with Visual and Electronic ID - the UK0 from your UK Visual ID will be replaced with 826 for your EID. These will be added to your flock list on the app- but they wont have any gender or birth data connected to them yet and they will show as a Green lamb icon because of this.

Think about how the quantity you are lambing per week or month and add in enough to support your weekly/monthly lambing amount, so as not to overwhelm your flock list with to many Sequence lambs in one go.

Once the info has been added and you are happy, tap the 'Create' button at the top right of the screen.

Step 6: Your lamb sequence will now be created and you'll find the list of lambs according to the quantity you created will be added to your ALL Animals and your Sheep view.

These lambs are now ready to be added to the breeding record of your ewes as and when they lamb.

Step 7: Find the lamb you want to update and tap the chevron on the lamb card to open it. Next, tap the 'Action' button, lower right of the screen.

Step 8: From the Action options select Animal Details

Step 9: Tap the Date of Birth field to add in a DOB, tap the Female / Male to add in the relevant gender and complete any of the additional fields shown as required. Once the details have been added hit 'Save' in the top right of the screen

Note: If you are adding the lamb to a Breeding record it will take the Birthing date from the breeding record and this will updated on the lamb details automatically once added.

Step 10: You will now be taken back to the lamb summary screen, where you'll see the animal icon has updated to show the relevant gender, the DOB will be updated and you'll note under the Groups heading, the lamb sits in the Permanent Sheep Group and also show as in a Sequence Group which is automatically generated when you create the sequence and sits within Auto Groups on the app.

Step 11: To add in a Birth Weight, tap the 'Enter birth weight' text under the Metrics heading. Tap the weight amount in and then tap save.

Step 12: Your lamb birth weight has now been added and you are ready to add the lamb to ewes breeding record.
