Registering breeding records:

If a breeding record has not been created: Creating a breeding record

If a breeding record has already been created:

  1. Open the cows animal record.

  2. Press the breeding record to open it, this may be pre-populated with the sire's details and scanning results, if they have been recorded previously.

Recording the birth and adding notes:

  1. You may wish to note details about the birth using the form provided.

  2. Add a calf by pressing the '+' button or by scanning its tag with an EID reader. You can add a new calf or link a lamb that is already registered in iLivestock, when fostering a calf for example.

  3. Any further information can be added to the notes section.

  4. Once all the information you wish to save has been recorded, press 'Finish This Breeding'

Caution: You cannot edit a finished breeding record! Make sure you are absolutely certain the information is true before finishing the record.
